On October 1, 2010, I left America for 11 months to live/volunteer in 11 different countries* around the world.  Learn 11 cultures.  Love 11 nationalities.  Back when I signed up for the World Race I was asking myself questions like "why on earth am I doing this?" and consoling myself with "it's only a year."  Now I can't even fathom wanting any other life than one lived fully.  One that can be scary.  One in which I don't have control over everything.  And how I got to this point in less than a year is really beyond me, but I blogged the journey.  For you.  So read it.
